Information
Plant to 10 m tall, with trunk to 40 cm in diameter. Leaf-rosettes of 40–80 leaves. Leaf lamina cordate, to 46 cm long and 22 cm wide, lower portion of leaf constricted to form a pseudo-petiole, broadly flared at the base, to 19 cm long; leaf tomentose on lower surface. Inflorescence to 180 cm tall, 80 cm in diameter. Ray florets absent or 12–16; when present, to 17 mm long; disc florets 150–380.
