bulb small, ovoid; leaves 5–6, tirm, subterete, glabrous, arcuate, 2 in. long, 1/3 lin. diam.; peduncle 1–1 1/2 in. long; raceme dense, subglobose, 1/2– 3/4 in. long and broad; pedicels 1/8– 1/6 in. long, the lower cernuous; bracts minute, linear; perianth campanulate, bright mauve-purple, 1/8 in. long; stamens as long as the perianth; filaments bright purple. null
