Information
bulb globose, 1/3– 1/2 in. diam.; leaves 1–2, oblong, 1–2 in. long, 1/2–1 in. broad at the middle; peduncle slender, as long as the leaves; raceme dense, subglobose, 1–1 1/4 in. long and broad; central pedicels 1/4– 1/3 in. long, lower cernuous; perianth campanulate, bright mauve-purple inside and out, 1/6 in. long; stamens rather shorter than the perianth; filaments filiform, very dark purple; ovary stipitate, globose. null
