Information
plant 1/2–1 1/2 ft. high; stems stout; leaves 2, radical, sessile, spreading, ovate or ovate-orbicular, obtuse, somewhat fleshy, 1 1/4–3 in. long, nearly as broad as long; scapes 1/2–1 1/2 ft. high, with numerous spathaceous imbricate sheaths; spikes 2–6 in. long, many-flowered, dense or rarely somewhat lax; bracts ovate or ovate-oblong, acute, reflexed after flowering; pedicels 5–7 lin. long; flowers medium-sized, white or pale pink, spotted with purple; sepals oblong, obtuse, 4–5 lin. long; petals rather shorter and narrower than the sepals; lip cucullate, oblong or ovate-oblong, about 1/2 in. long, with broad obtuse somewhat reflexed apex; spurs slender, curved, 1–1 1/4 in. long; column curved, about 4 lin. long; stigma obovate-oblong, obtuse, 1 lin. long; rostellum rhomboid, tridentate at the apex, rather shorter than the stigma. null
