plant 4–8 in. high; stem slender; leaves 2, spreading or suberect, ovate or ovate-oblong, apiculate or subacute, 1–2 in. long, 4–7 lin. broad, somewhat fleshy; scapes 4–8 in. high, with about 3 narrow spathaceous sheaths; the lower sometimes leaf-like; spikes 1–2 in. long, narrow, somewhat dense, many-flowered; bracts ovate, acute, 1 1/2–2 lin. long; pedicels about 1 1/2 lin. long; flowers very small, green tinged with red; odd sepal oblong or linear-oblong, subacute, 3/4 lin. long; lateral sepals oblong, subobtuse, 1 lin. long, spreading; petals ovate, subacute, 3/4 lin. long; lip somewhat galeate, broadly ovate-suborbicular, 1 lin. long, obtuse or truncate, broader than long; spurs minutely saccate or subobsolete; column slightly curved, 3/4 lin. long; stigma suborbicular, obtuse or emarginate, 1/4 lin. long; rostellum minute, triangular; capsule subglobose, about 2 lin. long. null
