Information
leaves up to ten in a cluster, rigid, plain green, pale, not red on the edge, oblanceolate, nearly flat, 8–9 in. long, 1 1/2–2 in. broad at the middle, narrowed gradually to the concave base; peduncle terete, stiffly erect, shorter than the leaves; inflorescence dense, subspicate; flowers all solitary; bracts minute, lanceolate, scariose; perianth 2 in. long; tube cylindrical, more than twice as long as the segments; stamens a little longer than the perianth-segments; anthers small, oblong; style much overtopping the stamens. null
