Information
Dense shrub to 1.3 m high, side branches patent, pubescent at least when young, ± 3-sided. Leaves alternate or opposite, scale-like or boat-shaped, 1–4 x 1–1.5 mm, glabrescent or pubescent, often in congested short lateral shoots. Flowers sessile, solitary in upper leaf-axils, often crowded ± into spikes. Perianth 2–2.75 mm long. Fruit including wings 6–10 mm in diam., wings reniform or transversely elliptic, 2–4 x 1.5–7 mm, closely veined; perianth-lobes with conspicuous scarious margins. Seed 1.5–1.7 mm in diam., brown.
