stem erect, flexuous; leaves sagittate with obtuse or acute basal lobes, entire, up to 3 in. long and 1 1/2 in. wide, glabrous, membranous; petiole up to 1 1/2 in. long; panicle terminal, leafless; whorls few-flowered; pedicels slender, jointed near the base; flowers usually diœcious; inner perianth-segments in fruit orbicular-cordate, quite entire, strongly reticulate, not warted at the base. null
