Notes
The seeds are edible.Ricinodendron heudelotii subsp. heudelotii occurs in West Africa from Guinea Bissau to Ghana.It differs from subsp. africanum in having fewer leaf segments per leaf (3–5 as opposed to (3)5–7(8)), 3-locular ovaries and (2)3-locular fruits as opposed to 2(3)-locular ones.
