KALAHARI REGION Transvaal; Trigards Fontein, Rehmann, 82, 83; Mapoch District, west of Lydenburg, cultivated specimen!
Notes
I have only seen a drawing of Rehmann's specimen of R. macrocarpa (Engler, Araceæ No. 27), and although the colour of the flowering spathe is unknown, yet so far as the drawing and description go, it appears to me in every way identical with R. angustiloba, Schott, and R. Pentlandii, Whyte. The Mapoch locality is given on the authority of Mr. E. E. Galpin, formerly of Barberton, Transvaal, who presented living plants of this species to Kew.
