Information
petiole smooth, without bristles; blade of the leaf 6–18 in. long, 4–10 in. broad, cordate or hastate, obtuse or acute, tipped with a subulate point, the length of the part above the basal lobes much less than twice its breadth, green, unspotted; spathe 4–10 in. long; limb oblique, recurving from the tube, milk-white, without any blotch at the base within; spadix sessile, about half as long as the spathe, or less, cylindric; ovaries narrowed into a distinct style 1/2– 3/4 line long, pale greenish-white; staminodia and anthers bright yellow. null

Notes
A curious form of this species with a branched spadix is figured in the Gardeners' Chronicle 1895, xvii. 135, figs. 19, 20. A dwarf form about a foot high was introduced into European gardens in 1894 or 1895, where it is known under the name of “Little Gem.”
