RHUS tridentata Sond. [family ANACARDIACEAE]
Information
branches, petioles, and leaves covered with close-pressed pubescence; leaves petiolate; leaflets sessile, or the terminal one shortly petiolate, oblong, with revolute margins, the terminal one cuneate at the dilated point, 3- lobed, the medial lobe larger, acute, the lateral ones obtuse, mucronulate; panicles terminal, elongated, leafless, pubescent. Very like the preceding, but differs by the cuneate, 3-lobed or 3-dentate, terminal leaflet. Petiole 6–9 lines long. Lateral leaflets 1 1/2–2 inches long, 6–7 lines wide, terminal 2 1/2–3 inches long, at the top 1 inch wide. Panicle as large as in the preceding; flowers very minute.
