Rhus longipes var. schinoides R. Fernandes [family ANACARDIACEAE], in Mem. Junta Invest. Ultr., Sér. 2, 38: 39 (1962). Type: N. Rhodesia, 13 km. NW. of Abercorn, Hutchinson & Gillett 4010 (K, holotype).
Rhus schinoides Hutch. [family ANACARDIACEAE], Botanist S. Afr.: 524 in adnot. (1946) non Willd. ex Schult. (1820). Type as above.
Habitat
In Brachystegia woodland and by streams.
Range
Known only from N. Rhodesia.
Distribution
Zambia N 57–5 km. from Abercorn on the road to Tunduma, fr. 23.x.1947 Brenan 8183 (EA; FHO; K).
