Information
Shrublet with puberulous to densely hirsute cylindric or slightly angular reddish-brown branchlets. Petiole 1–3 cm. long, stout, dorsally convex, canaliculate above, puberulous to hirsute. Leaflets subconcolorous, narrowly elliptic, oblanceolate or spathulate, subcoriaceous, frequently brown-ferruginous when dried, puberulous to ± densely hirsute and reddish- or whitish-furfuraceous-glandular on both surfaces, the median one 3–7(9) × 1–1·5(2·5) cm., the lateral ones a little smaller, all rounded, obtuse or acute and mucronulate at the apex, margin sometimes ciliate, rather narrowed towards the base, entire; adult leaflets with the midrib and the rather ascendent lateral nerves raised on both sides but mainly below and the reticulation ± prominent above. Panicles axillary, narrow, ± equalling the leaves, with the axis and branches ± pilose and ferruginous-furfuraceous; pedicels 1–2 mm. long. Calyx-segments c. 1 mm. long, lanceolate, subobtuse, hairy outside. Petals 1·25–1·75 × 0·5–1 mm., ovate, obtuse.
