Information
Plants (5)10–40(70) cm. tall; stems simple or branched. Leaves 10–80 mm. long, pinnatisect, or rarely a few simple; segments (0)2–7, filiform, 3–20(35) mm. long, under 1 mm. wide. Flowers in axils of , or just above, bracts. Pedicels 1–6 mm. long. Bracteoles 2–7 mm. long, inserted near middle of pedicel, to just below calyx. Calyx 5–11 mm. long; tube 1–3 x 2–4 mm.; lobes ovate at base with revolute margins, 2–5 mm. long, filiform. Corolla white to pink, externally stipitate-glandular; tube (20)25–35(40) mm. long, 1–2 mm. broad below, 2–3(5) mm. broad above, straight or curved; lobes 5–8 x 5–7 mm., subcircular to spathulate, rounded; corolla long persisting around the maturing capsule. Stamens inserted. Anthers 2–3 mm. long. Ovary 3–4 x 1.5–2 mm. Style 17–35 mm. long. Capsule 7–15 mm. long to apex of beak, 5–7 mm. broad, winged mainly on upper suture, of ten set at right angle to pedicel.
Habitat
Vieis and part margins, of ten on sandy soil.
