Information
Perennial herb, up to 20(–30) cm tall, usually decumbent; stems angular, shortly pubescent when young, soon glabrescent. Leaf-blades linear up to 25(–30) x 1(–3) mm, acute at the apex, attenuate at the base, sparsely pubescent; petiole obscure. Calyx 4–5 mm long, shortly pubescent and glandular. Corolla white; tube 11–15 mm long, pubescent; upper lip entire to emarginate; lower lip 5–8 mm long. Capsule 10–13 mm long.

Notes
First record from Somalia (Wadi Gurguuris at c. 9º30´N, 50º30´E). The Somali collection has slightly larger corollas with an entire (not emarginate) upper lip, but is probably conspecific with the plant from Socotra.
