Names
PYCNOSTACHYS deflexifolia Baker [family LABIATAE]
Information
A perennial herb, with quadrangular pubescent stems. Leaves in distant pairs, subsessile, denexed, lanceolate, 1 1/2–2 in. long, acuminate, finely serrate, subcoriaceous, green and finely pubescent on both surfaces. Spikes dense, oblong, singley terminal, 1 1/2–2 in. long. Calyx-tube small, campanulate, thinly pilose; teeth subulate, spreading, hispid, 1/6 in. long. Corolla violet.
