Information
Bushy herb or shrublet 12–40 cm high; branches with mixed stalked glands and long hairs, sticky and aromatic. Leaves narrowly obovate, 2–5´0.4–1.2 cm, sessile, base cuneate to subcordate or slightly auriculate, margins entire to distally dentate, apex obtuse and mucronate, densely beset with stalked glands. Capitula solitary, on stalks to 4 cm long; involucre 10–14 mm long and up to 17 mm in diam.; phyllaries lanceolate, 8–12 mm long, glandular and pilose to pubescent. Florets yellow, the outer female and in 1 row, with rays 6–8´1.2–2 mm; inner bisexual, 6.5–10 mm long. Achenes cylindrical, 1.5–1.7 mm long, 8-ribbed, pilose; pappus simple, of bristles 6–7 mm long.
