Information
Rhizome up to 8 mm. in diam., creeping, with fronds spaced up to 1 cm. apart and with linear-lanceolate attenuate pale-brown rhizome scales. Stipe up to 12 cm. long, pale-brown, terete, glabrous for most of its length but with numerous scales similar to those on the rhizome about the base. Frond erect to arching, firmly membranous. Lamina up to 115 x 40 cm., elliptic-oblong in outline, simply pinnate, tapering towards the base; pinnae up to 16x 1.4 cm., linear-attenuate, glabrous, sterile margins minutely crenate, lower pinnae petiolate, the upper sessile; veins free; rhachis pale-brown, glabrous, sulcate ventrally. Sori in submarginal lines with paraphyses extending for most of the length of the fertile pinnae; indusium membranous, subentire.
