Information
Perennial subshrubby herb or shrub, 30–80 cm tall, pilose; stems erect or rarely ascending, 4-angled. Leaves linear-lanceolate to ovate, 5–30 x 2–8 mm, acuminate. Inflorescence racemose, or sometimes flowers clustered in leaf-axils; pedicels up to 5 mm long. Calyx 4–6 mm long, divided to 1/3 of its length, pubescent; lobes triangular to ovate, acute. Corolla pink to mauve or lilac, 8–18 mm long, lobes of lower lip 5–6 x 2–5 mm. Upper stamens 2–3 mm long; lower stamens with connectiv up to 7 mm long, the fertile yellow-orange theca 2.5–5.5 mm long. Ovary c. 4 mm long, style c. 12 mm long. Capsule 5–6 mm long.
