Information
stem slender, compressed, slightly branched; leaves all similar, linear, narrowed towards the base, acuminate cuspidate, 5- very rarely 3- or 7-veined, generally with fascicles of smaller leaves in the axils; stipules acute or acuminate, scarious; peduncles slightly thickened upwards; spikes few-flowered, generally interrupted; fruit small, slightly compressed, convex and bluntly 3-keeled on the dorsal margin, less so on the ventral, similar to but larger than that of P. pusillus. null
