Information
Rhizome short with tufted fronds; scales ± black, lanceolate, 2–5 mm long, 0.5 mm wide. Fronds subcoriaceous, narrowly elliptic-lanceolate, 20–50 cm long, 2–4(–6.5) cm wide, finely pointed, very gradually narrowed at the base into a short winged stipe, entire, glabrous, costa sunken above, flattened beneath; nerves scarcely visible, forming a row of elongated areoles. Sori linear, oblique, overlapping by 1/4–1/2 of their length.
