Information
Trailing perennial with lanceolate leaf laminae and often with aerial roots at the nodes. Culms 30–100 cm. high. Spikelets 6–8 mm. long, lanceolate. Inferior glume 1/3–2/3 length of spikelet, acute to acuminate. Superior glume and inferior lemma armed with stiff bristles based in yellowish tubercles. Superior lemma cartilaginous.
Habitat
Shady places in evergreen forest.
