Information
Shrub 0.4– 2 m high; branchlets densely grey-puberulous. Leaves light green, linear to oblong, (1– )2.5– 6 mm long, 0.6– 1.4 mm wide, margins ciliolate and with glands, viscid; petiole 0.9– 1.7 mm long, ciliolate. Flowers: pedicel 2– 5.5 mm long, glabrous. Apparent calyx with 3 lobes (2 of which are bracteoles) connate for ± 30%, ovate, 0.8– 1.4 mm long, 0.8 mm wide, ciliolate, obtuse to acute, the 4th (the bract) close to other lobes or rarely up to 0.7 mm below them, ovate-lanceolate, 2– 2.2 mm long, with greenish apex. Corolla white (2 records), turning brown (2 records), or reddish (1 record), 2.2– 2.6 mm long, 2– 2.8 mm in diameter; lobes ± 0.5 mm long. Anthers 0.9– 1 mm long. Style 1– 2 mm long; stigma purple, 1– 1.3 mm in diameter, slightly lobed, with a central raised cross or star of lines above.
