Information
Shrub or small tree, to 7 m tall. Leaves to 13 cm long; leaflets (1–)3–7, elliptic to ovate, obovate or suborbicular, 0.5–5.5 x 0.5–4 cm, obtuse to emarginate at the apex, glabrous or subglabrous above, appressed puberulous beneath; venation fairly prominent. Panicles 5–13 cm long, with fairly numerous flowers. Calyx c. 5 mm long, appressed puberulous. Corolla purple, c. 12 mm long. Pod oblong to elliptic-oblong, 4.5–10 x 1.5–2.5 cm, prominently veined, narrowly winged along upper margin, appressed puberulous. Seeds 1–3, subreniform, c. 1 x 0.7 cm.
