Information
Rhizome shortly creeping with linear-lanceolate chestnut scales 3–5 mm long. Fronds closely spaced or appearing ± tufted, few to ± 10, 25–50 cm tall; stipe dark purplish brown, 7–25 cm long, appressed pubescent and with very narrow pale brown scales; lamina narrowly oblong to narrowly oblong-oblanceolate, 14–30 cm long, 3–9 cm wide, simply pinnate; pinnae coriaceous, 25–45 on each side of rhachis, linear to linear-oblong, 1.2–5 cm long, 1–6 mm wide, ± rounded at apex, cordate at the base, glabrous above, hairy on midrib beneath; rhachis with hairs and scales similar to the stipe; stalks blackish, articulated at apex, hairy; veins free, obscure. Sori and indusium continuous.
