Information
Shrub 1–3 m tall; young stems glabrous, with a few scattered hairs or hairy near nodes, or occasionally pubescent. Leaf-blades narrowly to broadly elliptic or occasionally rounded, 5.7–15.5´2–8.4 cm, distinctly acuminate or occasionally acute at apex, stiffly papery, glabrous on both sides or glabrous except for base above, or with spreading hairs on nerves or also with scattered hairs on leaf surface beneath; bacterial nodules dot-like scattered; lateral nerves in 8–10 main pairs; petioles 4–8 mm long, sparsely to densely covered with long hairs; stipule sheath 4–7 mm long, with a 1.5–2 mm long tip. Inflorescences corymbose, compact to lax, 2.3–6 cm across (excl. corollas); primary inflorescence branches 4–10 mm long, covered with spreading hairs; secondary branches present; pedicels 2.5–6 mm long, covered with spreading hairs. Flowers fragrant. Calyx covered with spreading hairs; limb-tube c. 1 mm long; lobes 4–5.5 mm long, linear or linear-triangular, with spreading hairs. Corolla-tube (7.5–)10–25 mm long, glabrous outside; lobes 6–8 mm long, apiculate-acuminate. Fruit c. 8 mm in diam.

Notes
D´here, gerbis, soliogh, sou-ogh (Som.).Said to be poisonous to camels and sheep. The type of P. wargalensis has corolla-tubes only about 7.5 mm long, but still appears to be conspecific. “Wargale” as well as “Wagga” are corrupted forms of Wagar, and “Tausaiver” is Tawawir, a part of Wagar Mts.
