Information
Like P. geminatum but leaf laminae broadly obtuse to acute, spikelets 3–4 mm. long and glumes shorter, the superior up to 1/2 length of spikelet.

Notes
The leaf apex varies from subulate to rounded, but this seems to be of no taxonomic significance.
