Information
Stems to 120 mm tall and 50–60 mm wide, obscurely 4-angled, almost circular in section, with rounded tips; inflorescences at regular intervals along the angles of the stems, 8–10-flowered, on reduced side-branches frequently developing into globose side-shoots; flowers opening simultaneously, on thick pedicels 4–10 mm long. Corolla-tube cup-shaped to almost globose, 3–4 mm long, pale green; lobes dark brown, spreading, triangular, c. 3 mm long, with hair-like papillae inside, with a tuft of versatile hairs at the tip. Corona dark brown, cup-shaped; outer lobes minutely 2–3-toothed; inner lobes spoon-shaped, incumbent on the anthers.

Notes
The holotype of Whitesloanea migiurtina, Puccioni & Stefanini s.n. (FT) from “Gid Gudud” near the mouth of the Nogal valley in N3, is lost and Bruyns (1990) selected the holotype of Lithocaulon sphaericum as neotype.
