stemless, glabrous; leaflets 5–7, spreading in a circle, oblong or obovate, obtuse or subacute, with a cartilaginous margin, rigid, discoloured underneath; scapes equalling the petiole, bibracteolate; sepals sub-equal, oblong, 3–4 times longer than the yellow corolla. Quite like the preceding, and chiefly distinguishable by the broader, more rigid, and cartilage-edged leaflets. Petioles broad, as long as the leaflets. Leaflets flattish, 6–9 lines long, 4–6 lines wide, mostly blotched at base. Flowers yellow.
