Information
bulb ovate, brown; stem weak, leafy above the middle, very thinly puberulent; lower leaves alternate, uppermost crowded; petiole slender, not wing-stipulated at base; leaflets obcordate, glabrous above, puberulous underneath; peduncles longer than the leaves, puberulous, bibracteolate above the middle; sepals lanceolate, hairy, 6 times shorter than the corolla. Bulb 1/2 inch. Stem 2–3 inches. Petioles slender, upper 1–2 inches, lower few and short. Leaves 3–4 lines long, 2–3 lines wide, in some specimens equally wide and long. Peduncles 2–3 inches, mostly terminal, a few axillary. Sepals acuminate, 1 1/2–2 lines long, sometimes with minute, golden calli at the point. Corolla 8–10 lines long, pale violaceous.
