Information
Acaulescent. Leaves lanceolate, 3–4 in. long, 9 lin. wide; petiole 3 in. long. Scape 3–15 in. long, slightly compressed, slightly winged, a short distance beneath the spathe becoming incrassate and tetragonal with the angles acutely winged. Spathe inflated, broadly ovoid, striped with purple outside, 1 in. long, 7 lin. wide, bidentate at the mouth. Sepals lanceolate, subacute, 4 lin. long. Petals yellow, 6 lin. long. Stamens 6. Styles 7. Ovary incompletely 9-celled.
