Flowers 5-merous. Stamens subequal (forma senegambiensis),or markedly unequal (forma irvingiana (Hook.) A. & R. Fernandes).
Range
DISTR. U1–4; K2–6; T1, 3, 5, 7 widespread in tropical Africa from Senegal to Ethiopia and southwards to Mozambique
