Information
Robust plants, 15-150 cm. high. Bulb up to 7.5 cm. in diameter. Scape erect, up to 120 cm. long. Leaves lanceolate to linear-lanceolate, up to 60 cm. long and 5 cm. broad. Inflorescence with 75-300 flowers; pedicels 2-4.5 cm. during anthesis; bracts lanceolate, 1.5-6 cm. Perianth-segments oblong, 12-16 mm., with 3 or 5 distinct green vascular bundles in the middle of each segment. Filaments flattened, ± triangular, 8-11 mm. long. Ovary ovoid, 6-8 mm. long, with a short wide carpophore 0.5-1 mm. long; style ± as long as the ovary. Capsule 1.2-1.6 cm. long. Seeds 6-8 mm. long.
