Information
Simple or branched herb to c. 20 cm. Leaves petiolate; petiole 10–35 mm long; blade 2–5 cm across, suborbicular to reniform but generally with a short apiculus at the apex. Inflorescences with up to 15 flowers; peduncles 2–5 cm long; pedicels variable in length in a single inflorescence, 0.5–2 cm long. Corolla yellow, sometimes tinged brownish; tube 4–5 mm long, urceolate to subcylindrical; lobes c. 2 x 0.5 mm, oblong, glabrous. Corona as tall as gynostegium, free portion c. 1 mm long, entirely enclosed within the corolla-tube. Gynostegium 3–3.5 mm long. Stigmatic head forming a low cone.
