Information
root woody; stems herbaceous, erect, subsimple, below sparingly setose, above closely and minutely scabrid-pubescent; leaves linear or lanceolate-linear, entire, acute, scabrid-pubescent, the upper ones broad-based, the lower tapering at base, setose beneath and more or less ciliate; corymb compound; the pedicels and acute, 1-nerved invol.-scales scabrid-pubescent; rays narrow, sharply 3-toothed, longer than the involucre. Stems 2 feet high, rodlike, rib-striate. Lvs. 1 1/2–2 inches long, 2 lines wide.
