Names
NIDORELLA conyzoidesHarv. [family COMPOSITAE]
Information
suffruticose, nearly glabrous, viscidulous; leaves tapering at base into a short petiole, broadly lanceolate, callous-toothed, penninerved, acute or acuminate; heads densely corymbose, pedicels puberulous; inv. scales oblong, obtuse, quite glabrous; ray-fl. very minute, ovate-spoonshaped, denticulate. This has much the habit of Conyza ivæfolia, but with broader leaves and more densely crowded heads: the marginal flowers are truly ligulate, though the expanded portion is so short as to be overlooked without close examination. Leaves 3–4 in. long, 1–1 1/2 in. wide, rather closely penninerved, the nerves proceeding at an angle of about 75° to the margin; veinlets netted.
