Information
Rhizome erect with tufted fronds and pale-brown linear, or acute to acuminate subentire sparsely ciliate rhizome scales up to 8 mm. long. Frond arching, non-proliferous, herbaceous. Stipe up to 17 cm. long, greyish-brown, thinly pubescent with minute white hairs and with scales similar to those of the rhizome about the base. Lamina up to 95 x 25 cm., narrowly elliptic in outline, deeply 2-pinnatifid, apex acuminate with deeply pinnatifid terminal segment; lower pinnae gradually decrescent; middle pinnae up to 12.5 x 2 cm., very narrowly oblong-acuminate deeply pinnatifid into oblong obtuse entire lobes up to 10 x 4 mm., pubescent along the costa and with long scattered hairs on the costules and veins ventrally; pilose on the costa, costules and lamina surface with short whitish hairs dorsally; veins not anastomosing. Rhachis light-brown, pubescent with minute white hairs. Sori up to 14 per pinna lobe, more or less submarginal; indusium minute.
