Information
Perennial, suffruticose. Stems densely pubescent. Leaves petioled, cordateovate, membranous, deeply crenate, 3–6 in. long, pubescent on both sides. Flowers subunisexual, forming a lax panicle often 1 ft. long, about 12 in a whorl; staminate whorls less dense than the pistillate; bracts minute; rhachis densely hairy. Calyx hairy, 1/2 lin. long; teeth small, subequal, ovate. Corolla twice as long as the calyx.
