Information
Mat-forming to erect woody-based perennial herb or subshrub, stems to 30 cm long, sparsely glandular-hispidulous. Leaves mostly clustered on reduced lateral shoots, needle-like 5–17 x 0.1–0.2 mm, glabrous. Cymes terminal on leafy branches, often 6- or more-flowered; pedicels up to 5–18 mm long, densely glandular-hispidulous. Sepals lanceolate, long-acute to -acuminate, 4–6 mm long, prominently 3-veined, base glabrous to densely puberulous. Petals oblanceolate, obtuse, up to as long as sepals, white. Stamens c. 2/3rds as long as sepals. Styles 1–1.5 mm long. Capsule ovoid, 3.5–4.5 mm long, splitting into 3 separate valves. Seeds angular-cochleate, 0.8–1 x 0.6–0.8 mm, obtusely tuberculate, dark brown.
