Information
Tufted mat-forming perennial up to 30 cm high, the base usually clothed in the fibrous remains of old sheaths. Raceme solitary, becoming curved with age, 3.5–11(–25) cm long. Glumes 2.4–3.8 mm long; anthers 0.5–1.2 mm long. Caryopsis c. 1.5 mm long.
Range
N1 throughout the tropics.
Altitude range
1400–1600 m.
