Information
Herbaceous or perennial twiner. Stems slender, scandent, glabrous or sparsely to densely hirsute with patent hairs. Leaves palmate, 3–5-foliolate, glabrous; leaflets sessile or shortly petiolulate, lanceolate, narrowly cuneate at the base, acuminate at the apex, margins serrate; central leaflet up to 5·3 × 0·9 cm., lateral leaflets about 2 × 0·4 cm.; petiole 0·5–3 cm. long, glabrous or setose. Inflorescences l-2(5)-flowered; peduncle up to 5·5 cm. long, densely papillate-glandular towards the apex; pedicels 5–6 mm. long, glabrous or with a few glands near the base; bracts minute, narrow-triangular, caute. Sepals unequal, glabrous, oblong-ovate, subtruncate or emarginate at the apex, mucronulate, the 2 outer smaller, 6–7 mm. long, the inner 3·8–9·5 mm. long. Corolla funnel-shaped, base tubular, yellow, or whitish, 2 cm. long, limb slightly lobed, glabrous. Capsule subglobose, straw-coloured. Seeds black, oblong-ovate in outline, trigonous, covered with a scattered brownish pubescence.
