Information
bulb ovoid, 1/2 in. diam.; leaves lanceolate, thick in texture, suberect, an inch long, bristly on the upper part of the face, narrowed at the base into a sheath clasping the peduncle which is longer than the blade; capitulum small, few-flowered; outer bracts ovate, acute, 1/3 in. long; pedicels very short; perianth whitish, 1/3 in. long; segments lanceolate, ascending, not more than half as long as the tube; filaments under a line long; anthers oblong, nearly as long as the filaments. null

Notes
Figured in Masson's drawings at the British Museum from a plant obtained in Bokkeland, that flowered in England in July, 1794.
