bulb ovoid, 1 in. diam.; leaves orbicular or ovate, thin, glabrous, obtuse or subacute, 2–3 in. long and broad; capitulum dense, globose, subsessile, 1–1 1/2 in. diam.; outer bracts oblong, acute, ciliated at the apex, 3/4 in. long; outer pedicels 1/4– 1/2 in. long; perianth white, 1/2 in. long; segments lanceolate, reflexing, as long as the tube; filaments 1/4– 1/3 in. long; anthers oblong, minute. null
