bulb globose, 3/4 in. diam.; leaves round-oblong, glabrous, 2 in. long, exclusive of the sheathing base, which is half as long as the blade; capitulum globose, under an inch in diameter; outer bracts oblong, subacute, 1/2 in. long; pedicels very short; perianth white; tube slender, 1/3 in. long; segments linear, shorter than the tube; filaments 1/4 in. long; anthers minute, oblong. null
