Information
Spikes ovoid-subcyliudric, 3/4 by 1/2 in., of about 40 spikelets, sometimes subcompound at the base, when ripe a dusky green. Spikelets in fruit spreading, up to 1/3 by 1/16 in., terete, maturing 3 nuts. Nut 1/2 the length of the glume, broadly oblong.
