Information
Culms 60–100 cm. high. Leaf-blades lanceolate, 11–23 cm. long and 1.5–3 cm. wide, the false petiole short, up to 1 cm. long; ligule scarious, 2–3 mm. long. Panicle up to 25 cm. long; pedicels smooth. Spikelets 8–9 mm. long; glumes represented by 2 tiny hyaline cupuliform lobes at the pedicel-tip; sterile lemmas subulate, up to 2.5 mm. long; fertile lemma and palea glabrous. Fig. 11.
