Information
Terrestrial herb up to 35 cm tall; rhizome creeping, swollen to form cigar-shaped tubers below the erect stems.Leaves usually 3, up to 6 × 3 cm, ovate, ribbed, thin-textured.Inflorescence up to 17 cm long, laxly several- to many-flowered.Flowers small, maroon-purple, occasionally yellow-green.Pedicel and ovary 3–3.5 mm long; bracts 1.5 mm long.Dorsal sepal 2–3.3 × 1.5–1.7 mm, ovate, obtuse; lateral sepals slightly smaller, oblique, the apex more rounded.Petals 2–3 × 0.3–0.6 mm, linear-lanceolate.Lip c. 2 × 2 mm, suborbicular to quadrate, with 2 lunate, pubescent calli towards the sides.Column 0.6–1 mm long.
