Information
perennial, densely tufted; leaves linear, flat, moderately firm, inconspicuously ciliated, the lower 4–8 in. long; stem slender, erect, 1–1 1/2 in. long, bearing several reduced leaves; inflorescence congested into a small globose or ovoid terminal head; primary bracts linear-convolute; perianth 1/6 in. long; segments ovate-acuminate, brown, with a greenish edge, outer rather longer than the inner; capsule sub-globose; seeds 1/16 in. long, rounded on the back, flattened on the inner side. null
