Information
Stems numerous, erect and spreading from a branched perennial rootstock, 10–30 cm tall, slender, pubescent to pilose on younger parts. Leaves 3-foliolate, shortly petiolate; leaflets 8–15 × 2–5 mm, linear-elliptic to oblanceolate, pointed, mucronate, appressed pubescent on both surfaces; stipules paired at the nodes, 3–8 mm long, linear-elliptic. Flowers single or in clusters of up to 7, leaf-opposed; bracts 1–2 mm long, nearly as long as the pedicel, filiform or subulate; bracteoles lacking. Calyx 6–7 mm long, pubescent; upper and lateral lobes joined higher, 3–4 mm long, subulate. Standard yellow, longer than the keel, extensively pubescent outside; wings a little shorter than the keel; keel 8–10 mm long, obtuse, extensively pubescent. Pods 8–10 × 3 mm, oblong, glabrous except for a few hairs along the upper suture, c. 10-seeded. Mature seeds not seen.
